Since you are removing foods that are high in carb content in this fatty liver diet, it is important that you supplement it with cooked vegetables that contain starch. Another thing to consider about using vegetables is that when you choose your vegetables, they should be good for your liver.

Complex carbohydrates are important too when it comes to your fatty liver diet so that you will have a healthy supply of energy for the day. Another reason why you should whole grains to your diet is that they can come with vitamins and minerals that can enhance liver function. You will find that oats, quinoa, barley, wild rice, bulgur, spelt, rye, and brown rice.
