2. Lemon Water

–      Wake up with warm lemon water. Drinking a warm cup of lemon water with breakfast can help improve the digestive system, improve regular bowel movements and increase metabolic rate. Drinking lemon water throughout the day will help keep the metabolic rate high.

3. Keep a Water Bottle Handy

–      Drinking two glasses of water as soon as you wake up can help hydrate the body and activate the slowed down metabolism as you sleep. Another great water tip is to prepare two sets of water bottle in the morning. Draw in about half an inch to an inch in your water bottle for every hour for both water bottles. This will help you remember to drink water and keep you hydrated. Drinking water will also keep you energized and metabolic rate high.

4. Eat Two Eggs

–      Eat a good amount of protein in the morning to help improve the metabolism. Eggs contain high amounts of protein. Eating two a day can keep you fuller for a longer period. If you’re not much of an egg person you can replace the eggs with a bowl of high protein cereal.

–      Stretching in the morning can help improve blood circulation and metabolism. You can perform stretches while sitting down on the bed or while waiting for your coffee to brew. Stretching and lifting can help boost energy levels.
