Tips on How to Have Flawless Skin

Must read

Celebrities may have those beautiful, and flawless looking skin, but this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to rock yours too. Our skin is the largest organ in our body, and it is often subjected to the various elements around us. Unfortunately, without proper care, we end up having irritation on our skin from the dirt and dust that have accumulated on our skin. Even with all the skin care products in the world, if your skin care routine is found wanting, your skin will not look so hot as you want it to be. What then can you do to have flawless looking skin?

Wash your face every night

It doesn’t matter whether you stayed at home, or traveled to work, make it a point to wash your face before going to bed, so that any dirt, dust, sweat, oil, and other particles will not get stuck on the pores of your skin. Keep a box of wet wipes on your nightstand, so you can still clean your face, even when you are in bed.

Wear sunscreen

Another tip that you should make use of, when it comes to achieving flawless looking skin is to apply sunscreen. And not just any sunscreen, but one that has a “broad spectrum” label on it. This is due to the fact that this can provide protection for both UVB and UVA rays that are coming from the sun. Choose sunscreen that has an SPF of 30 for daily use, but if you will be doing some sunbathing, go for a higher number to protect your skin from being burned too much.

Try exfoliating cleanser

The pores of your skin can appear bigger than usual when dirt and other debris get stuck in them. If this is the case, the best solution here is to use an exfoliating cleanser that contains a small amount of salicylic acid to dislodge the stubborn dirt. Do this every other day to prevent dryness while still being able to prevent irritation, breakouts, and flare ups on your skin. The exfoliating cleanser will help make your pores appear smaller in the process.

Remember your morning wash

If you think that it’s just at night that you should wash your face, think again. Even when you are sleeping, there are many products, dirt, and what not that can transfer from your pillows to your face, which can lodge into your pores.

Clean your devices

Another tip that you should keep in mind when you are trying to maintain flawless looking skin is to clean the devices that you are using regularly, especially the ones that you bring close to your skin. Your smartphone may look like an innocent device there, but it can be riddled with dust, dirt, germs, and others that can transfer to your skin, every time you make a call. Make it a habit to wipe your phone as much as possible to reduce the dirt transferring to your skin.

Change your pillowcases

If you think that the pillowcase that you are using isn’t affecting your skin, think again. The cloth covering your pillow can be a den of germs, skin cells, saliva, and what not that can irritate your skin. Make sure that you fluff your pillow up to remove the dirt that has fallen on it or turn your pillow on the opposite side where it has been covered by the bed. Also, make it a point to change your pillowcases every few weeks. This will save your skin in the long run.
