You are not going to have a hard time getting your hands on the necessary ingredients because being gluten-free is a lifestyle these days — online or offline, you can easily come across all sorts of food products that contain no gluten.

Going back to the gluten-free French toast recipe, one of the nicest things about the said recipe is it is so accommodating of everyone’s needs or personal preferences.

What do I mean by this? Well, you can easily replace some of the ingredients with others that suit your particular taste or requirements. For instance, making French toast calls for the use of eggs. If you don’t want to use any egg, then simply use an egg replacer, which is easily available for people who like to go egg-free.

Milk is another very important French toast recipe. If you like to whip up French toasts that are not only free of gluten but also dairy, then just use non-dairy milk such as almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk — anything you like.

8 to 10 slices of your preferred gluten-free bread 

3 medium-sized eggs 

3/4 cup of milk 

1 teaspoon of honey 

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon 

1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg 

Canola oil (or any vegetable oil of your preference)


-To get started, have your slices of gluten-free bread lightly toasted to keep them from absorbing tons of batter and ending up squashy. 

-In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. 

-Whisk into it the milk, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Make sure that all of the ingredients are mixed very well for the perfect-tasting gluten-free French toasts. 

-Put a little canola oil on a non-stick frying pan and heat over medium heat. 

-Dip a slice of gluten-free bread in the batter. Make sure that the entire slice of bread is covered evenly. 

-Fry the battered slice of bread. Once the bottom is golden brown, flip over and allow the other side to cook. 

-Transfer to a serving plate and cook the remaining slices.

That’s how trouble-free it is to make gluten-free French toasts! By the way, it’s not a good idea to dip all of the bread slices in batter all at the same time. If you want the perfect French toasts that are devoid of gluten, dip only slices that your frying pan can accommodate at once.
