Blisters can appear when you accidentally spilled hot water on yourself or when you are wearing too tight shoes that chafe your skin. You can easily spot them because they become these pus-filled bubbles that form on the outer layer of your skin. The good news is that these blisters aren’t life-threatening and may disappear after a few days, but the problem is that they can cause discomfort especially when it affects our feet. Fortunately, you can help speed up the healing process with the help of essential oils.

Oregano oil

This plant is extracted from the oregano plant and is well-known for its therapeutic properties. One particular compound that is the active ingredient in this essential oil is carvacrol which is an anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, immunomodulatory, and anticancer too. And because of these properties, oregano oil can be used to help ease the blisters on your skin.

What’s great about this oil is that its uses are not limited to treating blisters alone, but it can also help treat cold sores an acne even. When combined with carrier oil and applied on the skin, you’ll immediately get that soothing sensation which can help lessen your discomfort.

Frankincense oil

Considered as one of the best wound healers today, it is a good treatment to utilize when you are dealing with blisters.
