Oat flakes and olive oil

In this recipe you will need a tablespoon each of oat flakes, milk, and olive oil. Combine all the ingredients and mix them properly until you create a paste. Apply this on your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse your face with cold water then pat it dry.

Olive oil and honey

If you want to have glowing skin then you’ll love olive oil for sure. Here you will need to combine a tablespoon of raw honey with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive, and egg yolk in a small bowl. Now wash your face first with water then pat it dry. Apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes or until it has dried. Rinse it off afterwards with lukewarm water.

Turmeric and olive oil

Another way for you to use olive oil is to pair it with turmeric powder. You will need a tablespoon of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, and half a tablespoon of turmeric powder. All of these ingredients should be mixed in a small bowl then apply it on your face evenly. You should wait for about 10 to 15 minutes so the mask will be able to do its thing. Wash your face afterwards then use a gentle cleanser afterwards so you can remove the discoloration on your skin caused by turmeric.

Cucumber is well known for its vitamin content that is actually important to your skin. Another reason why this ingredient is good for you is that it can help lighten your dark complexion and even reduce the appearance of scars. For this recipe, you will need a fresh cucumber, a teaspoon of olive oil, and a teaspoon of milk. You will need to grind or mash your cucumber slices first so that they will become smooth.
