1. Lemon Juice

You can either pour lemon juice into a small bowl or apply them directly to your fingers. Also using paste made from baking soda and lemon juice can help whiten nails. Just let the lemon juice soak into your nails for several minutes, then rinse and dry them out.

2. Whitening Toothpaste

You can use a toothbrush to apply the toothpaste and then scrub your nails for a minute or two. Do this several times depending on how stained your nails are.

Toothpaste contain gentle abrasives that helps remove surface stains on your teeth. And these same gentle abrasives can help remove surface stains on the nails as well.

3. Hydrogen Peroxide

Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda until you have a paste-like texture. Cover your nails with the paste mixture and leave them for 3 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

4. Base Coat

You can prevent stained nails by using a base coat first before applying the nail polish. So don’t forget this extra step. After all, prevention is better than cure.

5. Nail Whitening Pencil

You can purchase this at local drugstores. Apply them under the tip of your nails to make them look healthier.

Most of the methods mentioned above require several uses to produce your desired results. Use a hand lotion or moisturizer to avoid any dryness.
