1. Baking Soda

One of the most popular toothpaste alternatives, you can just dip your toothbrush in baking soda and brush as you normally would.

Another way is to dissolve it in water and use the brine for brushing. You can mix it with a few drops of stevia and peppermint essential oil to give that minty fresh feel.

2. Sea Salt

Salt is a potent toothpaste replacement, but may cause abrasion to the teeth surfaces. You can dab your toothbrush in sea salt and brush as usual. You can even dissolve the salt in water first and then dip your brush in saltwater before brushing.

3. Coconut Oil

Is a great natural toothpaste alternative. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that comes in handy for mouth cleaning.

4. Dry Brushing

If you don’t want to look for a natural toothpaste alternative. Then there’s no need to use anything at all. Dry brushing does the job.

5. Brush with Pure Water

You can also try brushing with pure water. This will work well by clearing debris from your teeth, minus that minty mouth feel.

6. Oil Pulling

Olive oil or coconut oil can be swished around the mouth and then brush with plain water after. You can use 1 tablespoon of oil and swish around your mouth for several minutes.
