People who suffer from anxiety usually encounter digestive problems. This can due to the fact that the digestive system is directly linked to the brain via the vagus never. As people who have general anxiety disorder tend to eat unhealthy, their gut bacteria are affected by mental health. This leads to the development of irritable bowel syndrome or other digestive problems too.
