Do you find yourself feeling dizzy at times? It may be that you have pushing yourself too hard with your work lately, have been missing out on sleep sometimes, or may be enduring a medical condition that is causing you to have bouts of dizziness every now and then. Whatever it is that may have triggered your dizzy spell, it is important that you figure out the root cause as losing your balance can leave you prone to accidents especially when you are out and about.

That said, there are several home remedies that may help you deal with your dizzy spells fast and these are:

Skip the hot showers or bath

Most of us prefer taking hot showers especially when we are feeling tired as the hot temperature can melt the tension away from our muscles. Unfortunately, this ca also trigger dizzy spells since the hot water can cause our arteries to expand triggering a rush of blood throughout our body which can reduce our blood pressure. This is dangerous especially in pregnant women as you might accidentally lose your balance while in the shower.

Drink more water

Dizziness may be caused by your lack of water in your body, so if you haven’t been drinking regularly, you may be dealing with dizzy spells at some point. If you’ve been working out and you aren’t hydrating yourself, then yes, you may have to deal with imbalance at some point because you are losing plenty of fluids already. That said, it is important that you drink water regularly and more if you are doing physical activities.

Vitamin C

Make it a point to add vitamin C-rich foods in your diet as they are actually good for treating your dizzy spells. A study that was published in Acta Oto-Laryngologica showed that those who were suffering from dizziness or vertigo were less likely to experience imbalance when they are taking vitamin C into their system. Get more citrus fruits and add green peppers, sweet potatoes, strawberries, and even tomatoes as these are all good sources of vitamin C.

Honey and apple cider vinegar

Another possible solution to your dizzy spells is to prepare honey and apple cider vinegar. The natural sugars that are present in your raw organic honey can elevate your energy levels to protect you from your dizzy spells in a safe manner.
