Get Clear Skin with This Routine

Must read

Who doesn’t want to have clear skin these days? Any signs of blemishes that appear on our skin can be frustrating especially when you have a big day ahead of you. There are many factors that can contribute to skin blemishes to appear such as lack of sleep, poor hygiene, and even diet just to name a few. The good news, however, is that there are ways in which you can ensure that your skin will remain smooth and fair. Here are some tips to help you out.

Wash your face before you sleep. At the end of the day, always make it a point to give your face a good wash to remove any impurities that may be clinging to your skin. Washing your face with a mild cleanser can help get rid of any dirt, sweat, oil, and even makeup so your skin will feel refreshed before you go to bed. This also prevents acne from breaking out.

Reduce the heat. It’s quite tempting to soak in a hot tub especially during the cold months. Although this helps remove any tension in the muscles, it can easily strip the natural oils on your skin thus leaving it dry and dull. A better option would be to bathe in warm water then pat your skin dry to retain moisture.

Don’t be too hard on your skin. Scrubbing too hard on your skin can leave it red and raw which can leave your skin exposed to various germs. Gentle scrubbing is considerably better as it removes dead skin cells and promotes better blood circulation. Avoid using washcloths or even harsh scrubs and instead use your hands to massage your skin.

Sunscreen is important. Another trick to keeping your skin clear of any blemishes is to use sunscreen. The sunscreen with high SPF levels can increase the protection of your skin against the harsh rays of the sun. Without it, you are simply exposing your skin to UV rays which can speed up aging. As a rule, you should apply sunscreen at least thirty minutes before you leave the house. Re-apply your sunscreen every two hours especially when you’ll be out under the sun.

Use DIY masks. Your skin needs to be treated properly if you want to retain its smooth and blemish-free look. However, instead of buying those pre-made face masks in your local beauty shops, why not make your own using natural ingredients like strawberry, honey, and the like? Going natural is considerably better because your skin will get the nutrients it needs to combat acne and other skin problems plus there is the assurance that your skin won’t be exposed to chemicals.

As you can see, it is always possible to keep you skin blemish free these days. It is just a matter of creating the perfect skin care routine that will keep your skin well-nourished. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and that you get enough sleep so that your cells will heal and repair themselves.
