Remove Dark Circles without Spending Money

Must read

It’s quite horrendous to see dark circles under your eyes when you wake up but what’s even more frustrating is that you just can’t banish them so easily. Just imagine the jokes that will follow you to school or work when you’re looking more of a panda than your usual self. Applying concealer can help but what if you don’t have any on hand? Women aren’t the only ones who worry about dark circles under the eyes because men too can have them. So how can you make them disappear and without spending money on it?

Lemon juice

Squeeze a lemon to get the juice in a small bowl. Place two cotton balls in the bowl to soak them in lemon juice. Place them on closed eyes and allow the juice to seep for 10 minutes. Wash your face afterwards then pat your skin dry. You can repeat this treatment once a day for two weeks to help make the dark circles disappear.

Tomatoes

Another solution to your dark circles is to use tomatoes. Not only do they help reduce the appearance of dark circles under your eyes but they can also help keep them soft and supple. Just mix a teaspoon each of tomato juice and lemon juice under your eyes and leave it on for 10 minutes. Wash it off afterwards with water. You can do this remedy twice a day. To speed up the process, drink tomato juice combined with lemon juice and mint leaves daily.

Almond oil

For those who are following a healthy diet, you’ll most likely have some almond oil around. This particular oil is actually useful when it comes to banishing dark circles under your eyes as long as you mix it with some vitamin E. Mix the two together before applying under your eyes in a circular motion. Leave it on overnight. Wash your face the following day with cold water. This is not an overnight solution so you need to do it for several days before you see any results.

Cold tea bags

What else can you use to banish dark circles under your eyes? How about some cold tea bags? Soak some green tea bags or chamomile tea bags in water then chill them by putting them inside the fridge for a few hours. Place them afterwards over your eyes and let them sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Sit back and relax while you do so. Do this every day and you will see a significant improvement over the dark circles under your eyes.

Turmeric

Turmeric isn’t just used for adding a bit of a kick to your meals because it can also be used in several remedies. This is due to the spice’s anti-inflammatory properties as well as antioxidants that are known to treat any health issues that you may be having. To use this as a remedy for dark circles, mix two teaspoons each of pineapple juice and turmeric powder to create a paste. Apply the paste under your eyes and leave it on for 10 minutes. Wipe it off afterwards with a washcloth.
