Dry Brushing

There is no scientific proof to back up this remedy, but dry brushing is known to improve the flow in the lymphatic system and stimulate the blood. This can help improve the skin health and lessen the appearance of cellulite. Dry brushing will help open the pores and remove clogs. Dry brushing is also more accessible since you can dry brush your skin any time of the day without any materials except for a brush. Dry brushing requires dry skin and can be performed twice a day. The perfect time to perform dry brushing is before taking a shower and before going to bed. Avoid using a circular and back and forth motion when dry brushing. This can cause the skin to sag and get in the way of blood circulation. Use one sweeping motion angled towards the heart. Avoid brushing too hard, this may cause damage to the skin. When picking a brush use ones that have natural bristles. It shouldn’t be too hard or it may cause skin abrasion or too soft that it doesn’t remove dirt and grime on the skin. There are also brushes with attachable handles to help you reach places that aren’t as accessible.
