Teens are starting to become aware of how they look like that they become quite conscious about the way their skin looks and feel. This is not surprising given that the teenager years are the time when various bodily transformatios are taking place. That said, one of the things that your teen will be complaining about is their skin. The appearance of acne and other dark spots can be a source of embarrassment for them, but don’t you worry. There are several face masks that they can use to keep their skin glowing naturally. Here are a few that you can prepare for them.

Dark spots face mask

When acne clears up, there are dark spots that get left behind which can be remedied by preparing lemon juice and baking soda. Baking soda helps eliminate any toxins in the skin, while lemon is a known bleaching agent. Mix the two ingredients thoroughly before applying all over the face. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off.

Glowing skin

If your teen’s face looks a bit dull and dry, this glowing skin face mask recipe is highly recommended. You will need 2 tablespoons of baking soda, a teaspoon of honey, and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Mix the ingredients completely before applying on your freshly cleaned, slightly damp skin. Leave I for about 15 to 20 minutes then wash off with lukewarm water. Pat your skin dry afterwards.

Black heads

Those dark spots on your t-zone are referred to as black heads which occur when the pores of your skin get clogged. The accumulation of debris in your pores can turn black because there is not enough oxygen being circulated. Fortunately, your teen will be able to remove their blackheads with a simple solution. You will 1 egg white and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix the two then apply on your face. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Peel it off afterwards then wash your face thoroughly.
