Dry hair can make your hair appear wild, frizzy, and in need of treatment fast. There are several factors that can contribute to dry looking hair such as harsh shampoos, lack of proper moisture, and even stress. Throw in the medications that you are taking and you shouldn’t be surprised to find that your hair is in desperate need of intervention. Luckily, repairing your dry hair isn’t that difficult to pull off especially when you can take advantage of the home remedies below.

Avocado hair treatment

Dry and damaged hair is no match to the healing properties of an avocado hair treatment. You just need to mash a ripe avocado, with its pit removed, with one egg, mix it thoroughly before applying on your wet hair. Avocados are known for their essential fatty acids as well as loads of vitamins and minerals that can bring your hair’s natural luster. Leave the hair mask on for twenty minutes before rinsing your hair several times to remove any traces of the avocado treatment. You can repeat this once a week or once a month to maintain healthy looking hair.

Tea rinse

Teas are our go to solution when our throat feels a bit sore but did you know that you can use this liquid to bring back your hair’s natural shine? The best rinse is warm, unsweetened tea which should be your final rinse after you shampoo your hair. You can also use this rinse even when your hair is colored as it can actually enhance its color further. Of course, you need to choose the right tea based on your hair color.
