Heavy bleeding during menstrual period is often referred to as menorrhagia and can affect a lot of women regardless of their age. Comfrey

You can also turn to herbs to help you manage the heavy bleeding that you are feeling during your menstrual periods. One reason behind this is that this herb can actually help constrict the blood vessels in order to reduce bleeding.  Add 2 teaspoons of comfrey leaves in a cup filled of hot water then steep for 20 minutes. Strain it afterwards before drinking the solution.
