Banana ginger smoothie 

This concoction is perfect for improving your digestion, getting rid of nausea, and other digestive issues that you may be having. You will need 1 banana, sliced, 1 tablespoon of honey, ¾ cup of vanilla yogurt, and ½ teaspoon of freshly grated ginger. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve afterwards. 

Detox smoothie 

Eliminate the toxins from your body with this healthy smoothie recipe.  You will need ½ frozen banana, 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, ¼ cup of blueberries, ½ cup of coconut water, 1 cup of spinach, 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, and ¼ cucumber. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency. Serve afterwards. 

Green tea, blueberry, and banana smoothie 

Boost your antioxidants with this smoothie and get to fight off free radicals that are damaging your body. For this recipe, you will need, 3 tablespoons of water, 2 teaspoons of honey, ½ medium sized banana, 1 green tea bag,  1 ½ cup of frozen blueberries, and ¾ cup of calcium fortified vanilla soy milk. Heat the water first then add the tea bag and allow to brew for three minutes. Remove the tea bag then add the honey. Stir until it completely dissolves. Add the berries, banana, and milk in a blender and blend. Add the tea afterwards and blend further until you get a smooth consistency. Pour the mixture in a tall glass and serve.

Anti-bloat smoothie 

Bloating can occur from time to time but the good news is that you can banish it easily with the help of this smoothie mix. Just prepare ½ cup of coconut water, ½ cucumber, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (optional), 1 frozen banana, 1-2 teaspoons of fresh ginger, and ice as desired. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency to your drink. Transfer to your glass and drink to reduce bloating. 

World’s best smoothie 

No time to have a proper breakfast? This smoothie is going to keep your belly full until lunch. For this recipe, you will need 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt, ½ cup of orange juice, 1 banana, and 6 frozen strawberries. Combine the ingredients in your blender and blend for 20 seconds. Scrape the sides of the blender then blend again until you reach your desired consistency. Serve immediately.
