DIY Tricks for Treating Beauty Problems

Each and everyone of us has experienced a beauty problem at one point in our lives. It can be that sudden breakout of acne, pores that are just way too visible, or dark circles under the eyes that make us close to looking like a raccoon. Regardless of whatever beauty issue you may have, the good news is that there is always a way to make it go away.

Here are some DIY tricks that you can try out, if one of these beauty issues happen.

Dull skin. Sometimes our busy schedule and unhealthy lifestyle can make our skin look pale and unappealing. One way to brighten your skin is to make a rejuvenating mask using 2 tablespoons of coconut milk and a tablespoon of tomato juice. Mix the ingredients together then apply on your face and neck. Leave it on for a few minutes or until it dries before washing it off with lukewarm water.

Eye bags. Waking up to seeing eye bags in the morning is not really a good way to start your day. That build of water under the loose skin underneath your eyes can make you look older than your years. One way to reduce their appearance is to place teabags on your eyes for a few minutes. Green tea is a good choice as it has antioxidants that can fight off inflammation. Pop the used teabags in the fridge to help cool them before placing them on your eyes. Let the cold temperature do its work for a few minutes and you will see a significant reduction.

Acne breakout. Acne and pimples breaking out on your skin can have an effect on your self-confidence for sure. There are two types of acne and these are teen acne and adult acne. If you’re already beyond your teenage years, don’t think that acne won’t come around any more. As a matter of fact, you’ll probably see some pimples appearing on your skin if you don’t take care of your skin. Fortunately, you can prevent this from becoming an issue now that you’re an adult with some acne fighting face mask. Just mix together a teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of honey before applying on your face. Allow the mask to dry before washing off with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry afterwards.

Dry mascara. Seeing that your tube of mascara has gone dry can be frustrating especially when there is still enough inside for several uses. Instead of throwing it out and buying a new one, the best thing to do is to put the tube of mascara in a mug that is filled with hot water for 5 minutes to help loosen up the contents. Afterwards, you can use the newly liquified dry mascara.

Blackheads. If you are worried about whiteheads and blackheads marring your face and don’t have extra money to go to a spa, the best thing to do is to whip up your own face mask that will help remove those pesky whiteheads and blackheads. For this face mask, you will need to combine 1 tablespoon of egg white with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix them thoroughly then massage on your face and neck. Make sure that you apply this treatment evenly and allow to set for 10 to 15 minutes or until the mask dries up. Rinse afterwards then apply moisturizer.

These are just a few examples of DIY beauty tricks that will help you out in some of the toughest beauty problems that you’ll face. The best part is that they won’t cost you much and you can do them any time.
