-Neatly arrange strawberry slices on a large cookie sheet. Make sure that they form a single layer only, with no two pieces piled on top of one another. 

-Stash the cookie sheet in the oven and allow the slices of strawberries to cook for about 6 hours. Well, the goal is not really to have them cooked, but to get them dehydrated. It’s important to do the dehydration process by means of your oven using low heat only to keep the strawberries from getting burned. 

-Check the strawberries every 2 hours or so to make sure that they don’t wind up burned. 

-To tell if the slices of strawberry are ready to be turned into powder, pick one and try to crush it with your thumb and index finger. If it easily crumbles, then it’s primed for grinding. 

-Place the cookie sheet onto a wire rack to allow strawberry slices to cool thoroughly. 

-Once cooled completely, it’s time to get them pulverized using a blender, food processor, or coffee or spice grinder. Just remember to pulverize a small batch at a time for consistency.
