Eyebrow Tutorial for Undefined Brows

Must read

Sparse and undefined brows are quite common as we age. This might be due to constant plucking or because of changes in our hormones. Whatever the reason may be for your brows to become sparse, making it thick and more defined can make you deliver clearer emotion to a person you are talking to. Although you might thick of getting surgery or having your eyebrows tattooed on, it might be better to start with some easy steps to defining your brows better like the one below. What’s great about this tutorial is that you don’t need to be a pro to get this done. A bit of practice and you’ll be able to pull this off easily.

Apply face cream

Start by applying some face cream on your eyebrows to help soften the hairs there. Using an eyebrow pencil, fill the front bottom part using light strokes. Make sure that your stroke follows the same direction as your hair growth.

Stroke through with brow brush

You will need to have a brow brush on hand for you to blend the eyebrow pencil evenly. This will give your eyebrows a more natural look. The brow brush can break off any clumps that may cling to the hairs on your brows. Comb downwards so that the top area of your eyebrows will be filled too.

Sharpen your eyebrow pencil

You might want to sharpen your eyebrow pencil a bit before using it to fill in the top portion of your brow. This makes it easier to use light strokes to fill in this portion of your eyebrows. Be careful with your strokes as you need it to be even.

Start defining

Your eyebrow needs to have more definition which is why you will need to bring out your angle or flat brush for this step. You need to use any of these two brushes to apply cream colored powder on the lower part of your brow. This will help make your eyebrows look thicker than before. Again, you need to be careful with the amount of powder that you are using as you don’t want your brows to become too thick that they look unnatural. The brush can help distribute the particles evenly.

End with brow gel

After you have followed steps 1 to 4, the final step would be to apply brow gel on your eyebrows to help keep the hairs in place.

Now that you have done the hard part of defining your brows, it would be a great idea to highlight your brows using concealer. Apply some concealer around the brows to help give them a more defined look. You can also use a highlighter under your eyebrows to make them pop. These steps are all that you need to make your sparse and undefined brows to look thicker and more defined each time you go out.

It is understandable that you will feel that defining your brows is going to be tough but this is not so. You just need the right tools and products on hand such as flat definer brush, eyebrow pencil or spoolie, and clear gel for the brows. Keep your hands steady as you apply light strokes on your brows and adhere to the steps mentioned above and you will see amazing results in no time.
