You will need half a gallon of purified water, half a lime sliced, a cup of cucumber, sliced, a handful of peppermint leaves, half a lemon, sliced, half of grapefruit, sliced, and a teaspoon of ginger, sliced. You can add more ginger if you prefer. All that you have to do is to put all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and mix thoroughly. Add ice cubes into the mix and pop into the fridge for 2 hours before drinking. You should discard the water after 24 hours when you don’t drink it.

Cucumber, lemon, and mint detox water. For this recipe, you will need 12 cups of filtered water, 2 to 3 small organic lemons, 1 medium organic cucumber, and 10 to 12 organic mint leaves. Wash the cucumber and lemons first then slice them thinly. Add the lemons, mint, and cucumber in a pitcher of water then cover it. Put the pitcher in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight. Cucumber is known for its ability to hydrate the skin while the lemon can give you a dose of vitamin C that can combat any skin issues that you may be having. The mint can help cleanse your insides from any impurities to reveal a healthier glow.

Strawberry spa detox water. Another recipe that will yield some impressive results to your skin is makingyour own strawberry spa detox water. Strawberries, and other berries for that matter, are high in antioxidants that not only protect you against free radicals but can also improve your skin’s condition. You only need a pitcher of filtered water, and a pound of strawberries, hulled and sliced, plus some ice cubes. Add the strawberries into your pitcher along with the ice and let it chill for a day. This will give your detox water a nice pinkish hue and the best part is that your water will be filled with vitamin C and antioxidants that will help remove any toxins while improving your immune system too.

Lemon, aloe, apple cider, mint and honey. If you want to cleanse your digestive system while soothing inflammation, and improve your skin’s condition, this detox water is guaranteed to get results. You will need 1 to 2 cups of water (hot or warm whichever you prefer), 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of honey (optional), 1 lemon and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera. You should combine all the ingredients in a mason jar or glass and refrigerate overnight if you want. If you are planning on drinking this solution in time for your meal, just put it in the fridge and cool it for 2 hours or more.
